Sac High l is a college preparatory school where excellence is expected and working hard is the norm. We believe that the small learning communities are special places where all students will learn, be cared for, and make a positive impact on their school and community.

Sac High is built on a special philosophy and belief system that we practice every day. It develops in its students the academic skills, intellectual habits, and character qualities necessary to succeed in high school, college, and the competitive world beyond. The students will possess the values of excellence, determination, teamwork, integrity, and justice.

At Sac High, we are committed to do “Whatever It Takes” to ensure that all students are on track for success. For more information, please call 277-6200.

There is no tuition and there are no entrance requirements – essay, transcripts and test scores required for application process are not used to determine eligibility for enrolling in Sac High.  These documents are necessary for scheduling purposes and records.

There are no district boundaries – students may attend Sac High regardless of location of residence.

SHADOW DAYS

Shadow days at Sac High allow potential students the opportunity to experience life as a Sac High Dragon.  A current Sac High student in the small school the potential student is interested in will be assigned to serve as the guide for the morning.

Shadow days are offered Wednesdays (7:30 am to 10:00 am) and Fridays (7:30 am to 10:30 am) during the school year (as students are in session).  Students will meet our Small School Senate and Student Activities Director, attend class (including our Advisory class), have a tour of the school, and meet with school staff to answer any additional questions.

All students must follow the Sac High dress code during the shadow day.

To schedule a shadow day please call the Student Recruitment Hotline at 916-649-7910.  Shadow days require a minimum 1 week advance notice to schedule.
