ABOUT SAC HIGH - STUDENT RESOURCES

The transition through high school can often be challenging.  Knowing this, we have designed this page to help our students navigate the Internet to find the online resources that are essential and helpful in their matriculation at Sac High.  It contains “need to know” information, services that students may want to take advantage of, and other web resources pertinent to their educational and social well-being.  Check back often for new information!

PowerSchool Students Portal

PowerSchool is an easy to use student information system that provides students with quick access to their academic information throughout the school year.

PowerSchool is:

  • Secure
  • User friendly
  • Web-based
  • Accessible via the internet

If you know your login and password to access PowerSchool, click here. If you do not have your login and password, please consult with your Advisory Teacher.

Supplement Educational Services (SES) Available

Tutoring (Supplemental Education Services) will be offered during the 2009-2010 school year at no cost to the approximately 725 students who are eligible for free or reduced cost lunches at Sac High (please click here for details). Parents may select from one of the tutoring organizations listed in this document or from any of the CA Department of Education approved tutoring organizations found at http://www.cde.ca.gov/ta/ac/ti/supplemental.asp.  Eligible families will also receive this information by mail or may pick up the letter at Sac High's main office.

Tutoring must take place outside of regular school hours at locations to be determined by parent and tutoring provider.  Many tutors meet at public libraries, community centers, in-home (with an adult present), or at the school site.  Tutors are also available to work with students with disabilities or who are English learners (see attached list for more specific information).

If you would like your child to receive extra tutoring, please complete the second page of the information letter and return to Sac High by October 27, 2009 .  Parents will be contacted after this date to arrange for services.

Contact Nicole Michalik, nmichalik@sthopepublicschools.org or (916)649-7952 for additional information.
